To use this template, simply copy and paste the following text into the article and fill in any of the parameters. Only "name" is required.

Parameters

An explanation of what each parameter is. For more information, ask on the talk page.

1. name = the name of the denomination
2. image = any image associated with the denomination (logo)
3. imagewidth = width of image, default "200px." Recommend under 200px. Used when available image is low-resolution.
4. imagealttext = alternative text to be displayed describing image.
5. caption = a caption for the image
6. abbreviation = an abbreviation (such as an acronym) for the denomination
7. main_classification = (Roman-Catholic, Protestant, Eastern-Orthodox, etc.)
8. orientation = (main theology, i.e. Calvinism, Arminianism, Baptist, etc.)
9. scripture = the canon of religious text used by the denomination, including non-Bible works
10. theology = (main theology, i.e. Calvinism, Arminianism, Baptist, etc.)
11. polity = the appropriate ecclesiastical polity
12. governance = the appropriate ecclesiastical polity
13. structure = organizational structure for groups that do not employ a standard ecclesiastical polity
14. leader_title = title of religious leader; defaults to "Moderator"
15. leader_name = name of religious leader
16. leader_title1 = title of religious leader; defaults to "Leader"
17. leader_name1 = name of religious leader
18. leader_title2 = title of religious leader; defaults to "Director"
19. leader_name2 = name of religious leader
20. fellowships = names of distinct fellowships within the denomination
21. associations = names of inter-denominational associations the church is part of; eg. International Conference of Reformed Churches
22. area = geographical area, eg. North America and Japan
23. headquarters = Headquarters or main denominational office
24. founder = the original founder
25. founded_date = date of founding
26. founded_place = location of founding
27. separated_from = separation from (denomination)
28. parent = if the denomination branched off of a parent denomination
29. merger = if the denomination was the result of a merge
30. absorbed = names of denominations that were absorbed into this body
31. separations = names of denominations that have split off from this denomination
32. merged_into = name of existing denomination into which this body was merged
33. defunct = year in which this body ceased to exist if not merged with or into another denomination
34. hospitals = number of church-operated hospitals
35. nursing_homes = number of church-operated nursing homes
36. aid = name of humanitarian aid organization run by the church, like Adventist Development and Relief Agency
37. congregations = number of congregations
38. members = number of members
39. ministers = number of ministers/priests/pastors/...
40. missionaries = number of missionaries
41. temples = number of temples
42. primary_schools = number of church-operated primary schools
43. secondary_schools = number of church-operated secondary/high schools
44. tax_status = tax classification (e.g., Internal Revenue Service 501c3 or equivalent) of the main body
45. tertiary = number of church-operated tertiary level colleges or universities
46. publications = names of the publications made by the denomination
47. other_names = alternative name or names by which the denomination is/was known
48. website = official website
49. footnotes = any footnotes
